Arisaema sikokianum - close up
The Japanese Arisaema sikokianum is one of the
and showiest species of hardy Arisaema, easily
grown in New England, USDA Zone 5.
In this view one can clearly see the remarkable
club-shaped spadix that is pure white, disappearing
against the porcelain white vase-shaped spathe base.
In the garden, these striking plants challenge belief
that they're real!
