 Only 8" (20 cm) in flower, this is one of the best dwarf growing Juno
irises.  The firm leaves are densely stacked and grayish green, the leaf
edges appear finely edged in silver.  Shown here at dusk, more flowers
have opened. On the left, still in bud, is Iris orchioides, a deep yellow
flowered Juno iris.

In the overhead view of the flowers below, the blossom detail
shows to good advantage.  Such elegant, pristine flowers!
