Iris graeberiana

Growing about 12" (30 cm) in flower, this species can be found in several
color forms, but it's the lively sky blue ones that seem radiant in the
garden.  The soft chartreuse yellow falls add a further bit of sparkle to
the flowers.

In the photo below, we see a blue I. graeberiana in the center, a few
flowers of the white-flowered form of I. graeberiana just above, and in
the lower right, a tight clump of the bright gold form of Iris bucharica.

Photos snapped on April 20, 2002.
