The flowers are a glistening pearly white, with just the slightest hint of
purple showing through from the purple blotch on the outside of the
tepals. In the first couple days of flowering, the blooms are heavily
honey scented, which had me lying on my belly to indulge my senses
dozens of times.  Later on, the flowers are still fragrant, but they lose
the intense sweetness evident during early anthesis.
