Allium falcifolium - show plant
by permission of Diane Clement, Wolverhampton UK.
According to the grower of this potted show specimen
of Allium falcifolium, it is common practice in England to
cut of the leaves of show plants if the leaves are fading
or blemished, perhaps considered a debatable procedure
by some. Regardless, the closeup photo clearly displays
the shape and disposition of the flower heads, the
low plant stature, and the violet-lavender flower
color in this specimen.
