Allium - late flowering hybrid

Allium - late flowering hybrid 2000 Mark McDonough

This rhizomatous Allium hybrid selection is rather typical
of a group of Alliums I've selected over the years, being late
to flower starting mid-August and lasting well into September.
This group of hybrids is noticeably floriferous as can be seen,
with densely clustered rhizomatous bulbs, narrow green strap
leaves, and stiff, upright winged stems.  Flower color does
vary, but mostly in various shades of rose and lilac-pink.
