I once received a selected good form of Allium nutans, having bold grayish
foliage.  However it pales in comparison to this stalwart selection. Unnamed thus far,
this superior selection has remarkably broad, thick, fleshy gray foliage that strongly
twists.  In spring, the rhizomes tend to create a circular periphery of growth points,
each putting forth a dancing pirouette of leathery gray strap-leaves, as shown above.
